This is a sketch from which a painting will be developed. It reflects youth, When beauty and strength flows like the swift waters. When connection with earth and reproduction comes easily and when safety is inside the mother earth. I am the mother, and I abide in the mother, and am at one with the peace within and without. The moon and the waters represent the quiet places in between the moments in being alive and so connected with the body.
Humans have spirit fire, and create structures, stories and songs to fit their knowing. Once this drawing is developed into a painting, it will capture this passion we have as humans. I have the moon and water again in this painting, representing the quiet spirit space in between the moments and the deep connection to flowing life of Gaia and being in the body.
Deep in the forest, embraced by waters, we find our center and our healing. This drawing will become a detailed embracing of the earth to bring us back to who we are.
Resting and waiting for clarity. This drawing will become a cloaked person drawing strength from the large warm boulders by and glistening lake. Willows weep and energies flow to sooth the long journey of the human. May the sun burn the darkness from our tired souls.
My dear one, who came from my womb and had to fly away. I hold my prayers for you, and will always remember you. This painting will become a detailed safe place beneath the willows where my wishes for my child's spirit to find good things are the holy ground.
